STEM Boxes

STEM Boxes

STEM Boxes are experimental kits for elementary school students available in Denton North Branch, South Branch and Emily Fowler Public Libraries. Each of the boxes contains materials needed for different science projects and activities. They cover topics such as anatomy, astronomy, physics, geology and chemistry. The subjects in the boxes are based off the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills requirements for third through fifth grade. In 2014 the Denton Mayor and city council recognized this project.
